Job Title: Funding Administration Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Funding Administration Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing student payment plans and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

You will also prepare data for completion of reporting to state funders on a monthly cycle, manage data as directed by Manager Funding and Reporting, and correspond with state and commonwealth funding managers and administrators as required.

In addition, you will proactively build relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure consistency of knowledge and activity, perform authorised student refunds via system or manual EFT on a timely basis, and assist the Manager Funding and Reporting in periodic tasks as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in the VET sector
  • Able to analyse data with accuracy and displaying attention to detail
  • Systems knowledge: student management system, Axcelerate (preferable), MS Office (required)
