
Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced administration professional to join our dynamic team at a leading geotechnical consultancy. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our busy technical team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts/finance and experience working within a professional services office environment. You will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Timely processing of monthly accounts, reporting & reconciliations
- Effective maintenance and administration of office systems
- Efficient running of the office including supplies, mail, calls and messages
- Accurate documentation of key meetings
- Organisation of key communications and events for staff
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within a professional services office environment
- Experience with accounts and invoicing
- Relevant certificate or book-keeping qualification
- MYOB experience preferred
- Organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Hard working, sociable and well presented
- Personally committed to workplace safety
- Enthusiasm for innovative and practical solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Able to think on your feet
- Able to meet deadlines and self-organise
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Able to multi-task, problem-solve and work in a fast-paced office environment.
