Job Title: Technical Support Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to drive technical excellence across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering hands-on support, training, and consultation for residential battery energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute technical assistance to sales teams, customers, and partners throughout Australia.
  • Develop and lead training programs for distributors, installers, and retailers on residential BESS products.
  • Act as the primary technical contact, addressing and resolving installation or operational issues in collaboration with HQ.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product improvements globally.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and workshops.
  • Travel across Australia (approximately 25%) to provide in-person training and support.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Australian Electrician (highly desirable).
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, PV Technology, or a related field.
  • Three to five years' experience in the solar and/or battery energy storage industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Mandarin language skills may be considered an advantage.
