We are seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Design Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and design requirements for water and wastewater treatment facilities, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.
- Oversee drafting and prepare reports and specifications for infrastructure projects.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver solutions on-site.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
You will work with a diverse and inclusive team where collaboration and creativity thrive. Opportunities exist for professional growth and development as well as mentorship from experienced engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
- Knowledge of safety practices, Australian standards, and WSAA codes.
- Risk management skills with ability to identify project-related risks.
- Experience in managing small to medium-sized engineering design projects.
- A commitment to working safely within established HSEQ systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by the role.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for their work and be able to understand our clients' core business needs, providing solutions and services as needed.
