About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Officer - Administration to provide relief to our administration team as required. This casual role would be available as soon as practicable, and it would be advantageous to have experience in handling student enrolments.

The role of School Officer – Administration is responsible for providing high-level administrative support, demonstrating a high level of self-initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, autonomy, and dependability. You will liaise with visitors, parents, staff, and students to create a welcoming, warm, and positive impression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist administrative support
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a busy office environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver support
  • Provide accurate and informative assistance to staff, students, and parents confidently
Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Suitability Card
  • Minimum certificate level or higher qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
  • First Aid certificate or the ability to attain one
