We are seeking a delivery professional to join our rural team for local transportation work in the Cassowary Coast Regional area.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading transporter of fresh and refrigerated produce, delivering merchandise to rural worksites ensuring safe and timely handling.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and unload merchandise to rural locations, adhering to safety protocols and efficient delivery schedules.
  • Complete relevant pre-start checklists, documentation and delivery paperwork, utilizing in-vehicle technology effectively.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • In-store counter sales may be required, promoting products and engaging with customers.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid Heavy Vehicle (HV) Licence.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a retail environment.
  • A strong focus on safety and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
