About the role

Kenilworth Rural Supplies' is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team in Kenilworth, QLD 4574. As a full-time Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of small engines, from lawn mowers to chainsaws and more. This is an essential role that supports the local community and contributes to the success of our family-owned business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose, repair and service a variety of small engine equipment, including ride on's, lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and other power tools
  2. Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance of equipment
  3. Provide excellent customer service, offering technical advice and guidance to customers
  4. Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used
  5. Some Pick up, deliveries and on-site work
  6. Some general shop duties

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or similar role
  2. Strong technical knowledge and skills in the repair and maintenance of small engines
  3. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently
  4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  5. Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  6. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to assist with other workshop duties as required
