Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapists to join our team at Broadmeadows Hospital.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital.In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires an Occupational Therapist with experience in acute inpatient settings who is passionate about providing person-centred care.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to patients on the acute medical/surgical ward at Broadmeadows Hospital.You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate discharge plans thatare patient-centred and support access and flow throughout the health service.

This is a fixed term, full time role until February 2026 – covering maternity leave

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Fully registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Eligible for membership with OT Australia
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check VIC
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to lifelong learning
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
