We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Alice Springs region. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the local community.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with participants from diverse backgrounds, supporting them to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that values collaboration, flexibility, and work-life balance.
The role involves delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services, assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of current legislation and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
- Demonstrated at least 2 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation, and/or paediatrics.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid Driver's license and access to reliable motor vehicle.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
