About this role

This is a challenging opportunity for an electrical technician to join our service team.

  • Undertake scheduled and reactive maintenance as required
  • Respond to site outside normal hours on a rostered basis
  • Maintain all vehicles and equipment in good condition
  • Perform operations and maintenance within training limits, including HV and LV operation
  • Ensure safety of personnel and environmental protection
  • Complete site induction
  • Fulfill requirements of the Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA)
  • Comply with OH&S legislation and demonstrate commitment to accident prevention
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, safety codes, and regulations
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks as required

The successful applicant must hold a recognised Australian trade certificate.

Key qualifications

- A-Grade Electrical License
- Full driver's license

Essential skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for fault-finding and maintenance
- Knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systems (preferred)
- Motivated to learn new skills in a growing industry
- Understanding safety principles and committed to safety compliance
- Experience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in various environments
- Proficient with hand tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small team
