North-West Queensland Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled electrical technician to join our team at North-West Queensland. The successful candidate must hold a recognised Australian trade certificate and have experience in undertaking scheduled service and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake regular site visits for maintenance and repairs.
- Respond to emergency calls outside of working hours on a rostered basis.
- Maintain all company vehicles and equipment in good condition, adhering to safety codes and regulations.
- Perform operations and maintenance within authorised limits, including HV and LV operation.
- Ensure the safety of personnel, environmental protection, and adherence to work methods.
- A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Full driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for fault-finding and maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC and/or SCADA systems (preferred).
- Experience with HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in various environments.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small team.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
The role will require the candidate to work at heights and in confined spaces, and to wear personal protective equipment as required.
Good communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
