About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at our seasonal pool in Nagambie, VIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors and employees, coaching and developing leaders, and driving a high-performance community-minded culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effective planning and oversight of policies, processes, and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve operational, financial, and program deliverables, engaging with the Centre's leadership team, key stakeholders, and the local Council.
  • Lead and drive a high-performance community-minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
  • Achieve budgeted performance targets and maintain a high-value relationship with the local Council.
  • Implement a high-value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
  • Recruit and manage a diverse and passionate team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Identify staff development opportunities and create career progression paths that lead to transparent and effective succession decisions.
  • Maintain facilities to approved standards in line with contract requirements.
About You

We are looking for an up-and-coming leader who is passionate about leisure and wants to join a growing organisation. You will have experience in managing or leading in similar leisure or aquatic facilities, highly developed communication skills, and a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes.

You will be able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped high-performance teams into business actions and articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.
