Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team at Metro North Health. As a Senior Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical services to adolescents and young adults who require more complex mental health support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support integrated, timely, and seamless care.
  • Provide consultation and clinical advice on mental health and substance use issues to professionals to build capacity within the organization.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to work cooperatively with adolescents, young adults, and their support networks, as well as with healthcare professionals and government agencies.
  • Provide clinical leadership to contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a contemporary and innovative treatment program for adolescents and young adults requiring specialist care.
Requirements
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in mental health.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clinical leadership and contribute to the development of treatment programs.
