About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Psychiatrist to join our team in Central Adelaide. As a Clinical Leader in Public Mental Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional mental health care to our consumers.

In this position, you will provide top-tier services, ensuring that your practice is safe, evidence-based, and consumer-focused. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leading by example and fostering an environment of high standards in patient care.

As a Senior Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of mental health by teaching and supervising RANZCP registrars, trainee medical officers, and medical students. Your expertise will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities, ensuring continuous professional development and the advancement of mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical services to consumers
  • Lead by example and foster a culture of excellence in patient care
  • Teach and supervise RANZCP registrars, trainee medical officers, and medical students
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities

Requirements:

  • Hold an MBBS or equivalent, with specialist registration and RANZCP fellowship
  • Demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice and a commitment to quality improvement
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
