About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Datacom. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cost-effective technology-based solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will work closely with our sales, account management, and technical teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that address those needs. You will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions that meet the needs of our clients, and providing direction and guidance to our account management, bid, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end solutions and architectures that meet the needs of our clients
  • Provide pre-sales support and expertise to our sales teams
  • Develop client relationships and translate business/technical requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate as a subject matter expert in bid or tender engagements
  • Develop Request for Solution responses and Statement of Works, including costings for high-level solutions
  • Develop, facilitate, and engage in additional business growth opportunities for Datacom
  • Engage with internal operational teams to maintain a thorough understanding of managed services and related contractual obligations
  • Undertake Project Delivery encompassing high-level solution architecture, detailed design, and quality assurance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 10 years' IT experience within a consulting IT environment, with exceptional hands-on experience in the delivery of sizeable infrastructure, cloud, IT outsourcing, storage, backup, network, and/or cloud adoption/migration projects.

You will bring a successful track record in solution architecture and technical sales, with outstanding business knowledge in areas such as corporate structure, ROI, TCO, budget, and planning strategy.

You will be self-driven, possess excellent customer liaison skills, and a passion for technology.
