Role Summary">

The Australian Electoral Commission is seeking an experienced Branch Project Officer to join its Communication, Education and Engagement Branch. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with excellent organisational skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities to contribute to the delivery of electoral events.

As a key member of the branch, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the team, working closely with the Assistant Commissioner to facilitate clear communication and coordination.

Key responsibilities include providing executive assistance, collaborating on corporate initiatives with other Branch Project Officers, contributing to various communication and engagement projects, and assisting with stakeholder meetings, committee secretariat duties, election activities, resource management, and recruitment processes within the branch.

Eligibility Criteria">
  • Australian citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a character clearance and security clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
