Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Construct and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, suspended slabs, columns, and other structural elements.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials (primarily timber and steel) to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Verify that all formwork structures meet strict technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with site managers, engineers, and other trades to achieve project goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years' recent experience as a formworker in civil or commercial construction projects, with a strong track record of delivering quality results.
  2. Proven skills in reading and interpreting plans, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  3. A good understanding of workplace health and safety standards, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  4. Trade qualifications preferred (e.g., Certificate III in Formwork/Carpentry or equivalent), demonstrating expertise and dedication to the trade.
  5. Eligibility for visa sponsorship, with skills and experience aligning with Australian requirements.
