Job Description

A key role in our trading operations team, working closely with trading, treasury and wider operations teams.

We are seeking a skilled individual to manage digital asset and fiat related trade settlement and communicate with internal and external trading counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile trades from post-trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement.
  • Keep track of the treasury and liaise with the trading and finance teams on accounting for asset balances across operations.
  • Liaise internally with the wider trading, OTC and options teams on balances and settlement status, and provide administrative and client communication support where needed.
  • Manage new banking beneficiaries and support trading desks with fiat transfers and settlements. Liaise with banks on confirming cut-off times, fees and any troubleshooting of banking services.
  • Track and alert internal and external client margin and net open positions, and liaise with clients on transfer of assets to maintain margin thresholds.
  • Monitor and project manage internal operations ticketing processes and work with trading teams to streamline and improve these.
  • Oversee and help enhance the collection, documentation and organising of external counterparty FX and OTC related trade data for purposes of internal cost and best execution tracking.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of prior trading and/or trading operations experience - with settlements and trading reconciliation at its core.
  • Experience working in a crypto environment with managing clearing/settlement within cutoff times.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, etc.
  • Based in the APAC geography.
