We are seeking a highly skilled Divisional Accountant to join our Visy Logistics team. As a critical member of our finance team, you will play a key role in driving business success through data-driven insights and collaboration.

About the Role

As a Divisional Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our Visy Logistics division. This includes preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards, and identifying areas for cost savings.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide critical financial insights and support informed decision-making. Your expertise in SAP and Consolidation & Reporting software will be essential in driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mid-month estimate and month-end closing processes and tasks
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including annual budget and forecast activities
  • Ensure VL ledgers are compliant with corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or CA/CPA
  • Proven experience in Management Accounting within a fast-paced environment, preferably in the manufacturing, logistics, or recycling industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and Consolidation & Reporting software (preferably Hyperion)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
