The Role

We seek an experienced Principal Infrastructure Project Manager to support our growth plans in Queensland. This role involves working on diverse and challenging water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Site supervision: Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to plan daily activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Budget management: Monitor project budgets and maintain alignment with project expectations.
  • Contractor coordination: Effectively coordinate with contractors and suppliers to guarantee the timely completion of project work.
  • Documentation preparation: Prepare project documentation, track progress, and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Subcontractor oversight: Manage subcontractors and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Safety compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide training and mentorship to Site Engineers and Project Engineers.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, particularly brownfield treatment facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and coordinate large-scale infrastructure works.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
  • Natural problem solver and creative thinker who excels in tackling complex design/construction challenges.
