Brisbane, Queensland, Australia CPB Contractors Full time

We are building Queensland's future by delivering the largest infrastructure project in the region. As part of CPB Contractors, a leading provider of construction services, we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Development Project Coordinator to join our team.

With sustained growth on the horizon due to the upcoming 2032 Olympics, we are poised to transform the way Queenslanders travel through the Cross River Rail project. This ambitious undertaking involves constructing a 10.2-kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.

The project also encompasses the construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road, and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will be situated. As a key member of our Stations construction delivery team, you will provide on-site engineering support to facilitate successful project outcomes for this large-scale underground station site.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Managing work conducted on site by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implementing prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A recognised degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Civil Engineer experience with formwork and jumpform expertise.
  • Demonstrated site experience coordinating subcontractors, preferably in a large-scale building or infrastructure project environment. Experience in finishes and fitout is desirable.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
  • Experienced in overseeing subcontractor safety, quality, and progress to achieve desired project outcomes.

At CPB Contractors, we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within our workplace. We encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply and offer a supportive environment that promotes women in construction and Indigenous advancement and participation.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
