Field Service Specialist for Advanced X-Ray Equipment

A critical role that demands technical expertise, maintenance, and customer support for high-tech detection systems used in a secure airport environment.

This position is responsible for delivering premium service to our clients, ensuring the optimal performance of advanced detection equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex x-ray and trace detection systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and respond to system malfunctions
  • Install and commission new equipment to ensure seamless integration
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronics issues related to 24V or less systems
  • Prepare detailed reports and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall efficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians while maintaining strict safety protocols
About You:
  • Certificate III Trade Qualification or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or IT
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in field service or maintenance
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Current unrestricted driver's license
  • Able to obtain and maintain required clearances (medical, background, and security)
