Sr. Geological Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Geological Manager to lead our geological team and drive safe, efficient, and data-informed practices.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing accurate geological models to maximize resource recovery and minimize dilution
  • Overseeing grade control reconciliation processes to ensure optimal mine performance
  • Driving exploration programs to extend the mine's life and grow resources
  • Maintaining the integrity of geological mapping, modeling, and reporting systems
  • Applying strategic insight to reduce geological risk and improve models

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience in motivating high-performing geology teams
  • A degree in Geology or a related discipline
  • Strong experience in open pit gold mining, including mine geology, grade control, resource estimation, and exploration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog)
