We are seeking an accomplished professional to oversee our company's financial management team and provide accurate cost control against approved plans. The successful candidate will analyze and prepare reports, present to key stakeholders, and manage the identification of cost savings and reduction realization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the annual planning process for all IT cost centers in collaboration with leadership, portfolio managers, and business owners.
- Identify and realize cost and efficiency savings, and track reduction realization over time to ensure effective cost control.
- Manage IT spend against approved plans, investigate and report on variances to avoid unplanned overspend, and forecast costs for all IT cost centers.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and information to leadership to facilitate decision-making.
- Support project managers in tracking, optimizing, and reporting on project financials and spend.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial processes within an IT department or organization.
- Significant experience in financial management within an IT department or organization.
- Knowledge of IT technologies and terminology to understand cost drivers and categorization.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with stakeholders and suppliers.
