We are excited to be delivering the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of a 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System as part of Alinta Energy's Reeves Plains Energy Hub, located approximately 50 km north of Adelaide.
To support this high-impact project, we are seeking a Cost Controller to join our team.
In this role, you will contribute to effective project outcomes in the areas of cost management, scheduling, and contract administration.
You will support the systems and processes that ensure the project is delivered safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As the Cost Controller, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assisting in the preparation of weekly and monthly project financial reports Preparing cost comparisons (actual vs projected) for ongoing tracking.
Maintaining and updating the project cost database.
Monitoring and reporting on project costs to meet contractual deliverables and deadlines.
Managing subcontractor and supplier purchases and invoice reconciliation in accordance with contract terms.
Skills & Qualifications Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project controls, ideally within construction or engineering (desirable).
Solid understanding of project accounting principles, including Earned Value and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with project management systems.
Industry knowledge of Transmission, Distribution, Substations, Communications, or Renewable Energy projects (advantageous).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building effective relationships.
