Job Overview

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a committed Area Continuous Improvement Specialist to enhance our expanding Contract Logistics Team.

Your Role

As a vital member of our Contract Logistics division, you will leverage your leadership and operational expertise to foster Customer and Operational Excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Your main goal will be to support warehousing and distribution functions aligned with the overarching strategic vision, emphasizing operational excellence. You will establish and integrate a continuous improvement framework across operational activities to attract and retain clients. Your key objectives will include:

  • Upskilling team members by providing training on essential productivity enhancement tools and methodologies.
  • Planning and executing annual excellence certification initiatives for designated locations, aiming for superior operational performance.
  • Evaluating and validating continuous improvement projects with a focus on achieving annual savings targets.
  • Coaching site managers and their teams in the competencies required to promote operational excellence.
  • Participating in in-depth value stream analysis events.
  • Implementing KN Excellence site certification roadmaps encompassing all 26 elements of continuous improvement.
  • Driving and overseeing Kaizen initiatives for ongoing productivity and quality enhancements across operations.
