About this role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Solicitor to join our organization in providing legal services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. As a Solicitor, you will work closely with a Social Worker and Disability Justice Liaison Officer to deliver holistic services.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, a commitment to social justice and human rights, and the ability to advocate for and work effectively with our clients and communities.

You will be responsible for providing outreach services, warm referrals, discrete legal services, ongoing casework assistance, and representing clients in Tribunal/Court matters. You will also undertake community legal education training and activities.
