
Industry Sales Professional

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented professional to spearhead our business development efforts in the alcohol and spirits industry. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives on independence, high-impact work, and building meaningful relationships.
This key position involves driving sales growth across multiple states through strategic account management, planning and executing impactful activations, tastings, training sessions, and trade events. You will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with on- and off-trade customers, distributor partners, and industry stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth across Brisbane, Perth, and the Northern Territory through strategic account management
- Plan and execute impactful activations, tastings, training sessions, and trade events
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with on- and off-trade customers, distributor partners, and industry stakeholders
- Identify and close new business opportunities within the territory
- Deliver on KPIs and territory targets with creativity, consistency, and professionalism
Requirements:
You must possess:
- Sales or hospitality background (venue sales, liquor, FMCG, or distributor experience preferred)
- Ownership mentality - you treat the territory like your own business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with key on- and off-trade partners
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prepared to travel regularly between Brisbane, Perth, and the Northern Territory
- Full driver's license and access to a vehicle
- RSA certified (or willing to obtain)
Preferred Traits:
A natural storyteller with the ability to bring brands to life through tastings, training, and events. Highly adaptable, confident under pressure, and energized by the chase. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication with HQ and distributors.
