We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Child Welfare Officer.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the needs of vulnerable children and their families, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve stability. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of children and families
  • Develop and implement safety plans to protect children from harm
  • Work closely with parents, family members, and other caregivers to provide support and guidance
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to share information and coordinate services
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
