The Leeton Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Early Childhood Educator to join our team We are a close-knit community, dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for children during their formative years. Salary & Conditions

• The position is classified as an Early Childhood Educator and will attract a salary in the range of $37.88 to $42.44 per hour (Grade 6 in Council's salary system), plus 12% superannuation.
• Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
• Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Functional Assessment and Alcohol and Other Drug screening.
• Documentation demonstrating COVID-19 vaccination is required.

• Facilitate engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for children's growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure the well-being of each child.
• Implement and uphold the centre's policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Leeton Shire Council only hire educators who we assess as being safe and suitable for the position.

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. A willingness to work toward a Diploma would be seen as favourable.
• A current Working with Children Check is essential.
• Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
