Salary & Conditions

• The position is classified as an Early Childhood Educator and will attract a salary in the range of $31.38 to $33.48 per hour (Level 3 in Council's salary system under the Local Government Splinter Award), plus 12% superannuation.
• Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
• Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Functional Assessment and Alcohol and Other Drug screening and a National Criminal History Check.
• Documentation demonstrating COVID-19 vaccination is required.

• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for children's growth and development.

Qualifications and Experience

Leeton Shire Council only hire educators who we assess as being safe and suitable for the position.

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. A willingness to work toward a Diploma would be seen as favourable.
• A current Working with Children Check is essential.
• Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
