Role Overview:

As a Sustainability Field Officer, you will report directly to the Sustainability Manager, playing a crucial role in the development and execution of sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with farmers and agricultural producers to implement effective sustainability programs.
  • Enhancing environmental performance and productivity through our innovative sustainability solutions.
  • Assisting in the design, planning, and execution of sustainability projects.
  • Creating educational materials focused on sustainability for distribution within the Nutrien network.
  • Supporting the branch network during the rollout of sustainability solutions.
  • Utilizing your scientific expertise to become a subject matter expert and assist our sustainability consultants.
  • Representing Nutrien Ag Solutions at various industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the sustainability team.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a background in agriculture, sustainability, or a related discipline, complemented by a solid scientific foundation. Key qualifications include:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Australian agricultural landscape.
  • The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation abilities, with a talent for influencing and educating others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Additional Information:

This position requires travel, and a valid driver's license is necessary.
