About the Role:

Airswift is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Northern Territory. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical packages for a leading global EPCM company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of projects by applying knowledge across engineering, procurement, and quality control.
  • Manage the quality of installation and apply change management practices.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team to ensure project design deliverables and design quantities are managed on-site.
  • Review and manage contractor and vendor documentation for efficient contract closeout.
  • Develop action plans to address project tasks and issues.
  • Understand Project Control Reports and identify problem areas.
  • Ensure project technical execution complies with design intent and documentation requirements.
  • Act as the coordination interface with construction contractors, vendors, and the engineering team to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure project conformity with the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.

Requirements:

  • A recognised engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Eligible for Chartered Engineering status.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent health and safety outcomes.
  • Experience in EPCM projects, particularly in the execution phase.
  • Experience in EI&C project execution, site administration, technical engineering support, and coordination of contractor activities.
  • Sound understanding of electrical commissioning.
  • Proven experience in package management on similar-sized projects.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point.
