Wastewater Operations Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to oversee our Wastewater operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wastewater treatment plants.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and practical experience in wastewater treatment processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders. They will be a strong leader who can motivate and guide their team to achieve excellent results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice to treatment plant operators to resolve complex problems
  • Identify and lead the implementation of opportunities to improve efficiency of operations
  • Develop and manage contracts, projects and consultancies related to plant operations or augmentations
  • Ensure effective monitoring systems are utilised in relation to legislative requirements and Council methods and procedures for sample collection, testing and documentation management measures
