Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your knowledge of water and sewer networks in a dynamic and customer-focused team.

As a Systems Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring system availability, configuration, and performance of the Water and Sewer systems in real-time, proactively controlling systems operations to minimize the impact of system failures.

You will also prioritize and triage work orders for the dispatch of work crews and provide technical expertise and advice to field staff as required.

  • Monitoring and controlling system availability, configuration, and performance.
  • Proactively managing systems operations to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

  • A Certificate IV qualification in Engineering or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in water and/or sewage network management within water and sewer disciplines or experience in a similar role.
  • A current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience and understanding of operational management of distributed networks of assets.
  • Experience and understanding of water, wastewater, and networks.
  • The ability to effectively utilize information technology, including computerized control & monitoring systems (e.g. SCADA) and geographical information systems.
