We are looking for a dedicated Wastewater Service Technician to join our team in Gympie, Queensland. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, pipes, and related equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues, and collect and test wastewater samples to ensure compliance. The role involves responding to service calls and emergencies, including after-hours support, while maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections. A key part of this position is communicating effectively with customers, clients, and team members, providing updates, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. You will adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards and Queensland environmental regulations, working collaboratively in a team environment. The role may involve physically demanding tasks in varying conditions

Candidates must hold a Restricted Drainer's Licence (Queensland), a valid Australian Manual Car Licence, a clear National Police Check, and a Construction Induction Card (White Card). Strong communication skills with a proven ability to interact professionally with customers and clients are essential. We also may consider training for the right person, this person would preferably have previous experience in a similar role.
