Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic sourcing expert to lead our procurement activities and drive cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure the availability of materials and services required to support business objectives.
Additionally, you will manage supplier relationships, including negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring supplier performance meets established standards.
You will also identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through supplier consolidation, process improvements, and other initiatives.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities, including product development, quality, and logistics teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management, with a focus on cost savings and supplier management
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred
