Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Second in Charge. This role will assist the Director of Service in delivering an exceptional experience for children in our care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and outstanding communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our program.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. You will be responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.

Additionally, you will support ensuring the program is compliant with industry regulations, interact with parents and engage with the school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Passion for working with children
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Can-do attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education (not essential)
  • ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria (or studying towards)
