Plant Crusher Operator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Plant Crusher Operator to join our team at a well-established concrete recycling yard in Brisbane.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate crushing plant machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform regular maintenance and basic repairs on crushing equipment, including routine checks and fault diagnosis.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as bobcats (loader and excavator experience highly regarded), using your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and fix machines when required.
  • Carry out general yard hand duties, including manual labor and assisting with various tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating crushing plant machinery is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • A valid Bobcat ticket is essential; having an excavator or loader ticket is also a significant advantage.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment and perform manual labor tasks as required.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
