The Role
This is not your standard supervisor position.
You'll perform specialist jacking of hydraulic excavators, shovels, and other large-scale equipment.
With a strong focus on quality assurance and client service, you'll oversee machine lifts, build stakeholder relationships, and support training initiatives across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising field crews and ensuring safe, compliant work delivery
Performing and overseeing specialist jacking during slew bearing changes, track frame replacements, and shutdown support
Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to problem-solve and deliver on expectations
Local and interstate travel, regularly for periods up to 7-10 days, occasionally longer when conducting our specialist jacking work with associated shutdown support

About You
We're looking for a hands-on leader who can guide teams in high-risk environments while staying cool, calm, and connected to clients and crews.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

Mechanical aptitude and the confidence to hold technical conversations with stakeholders
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
A willingness to travel frequently, learn new systems, and think on your feet
Training, QA or site leadership experience will be highly regarded
Current valid driver's license
Brisbane based, with regular travel required

Trade qualifications and experience in Mining are a bonus-but not essential.
