About the Role:

  • Establish a clear vision for the People and Culture department, ensuring alignment with our organisation's overall strategy.
  • Lead organisational redesign initiatives, aligning the people function with strategic goals and vision.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding processes, attracting high-quality talent and improving engagement and retention.
  • Ensure effective use of HRIS systems, mapping out best practices and enhancing HR processes.
  • Prioritise operational efficiency and stability, developing long-term strategic plans once the function is stabilised.
  • Build leadership capability, enhancing team performance and fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in healthcare or aged care sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the funding landscape, particularly in private funding environments.
  • Ability to integrate commercial considerations into HR practices and decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and retention strategies, building high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing HRIS implementations and optimising HR processes for efficiency.
  • Expertise in workers' compensation and industrial relations, with a strong focus on risk mitigation and compliance.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $140,000 - $170,000 per annum.
  • Generous annual leave, including 5 weeks leave and leading carer's leave options.
