Job Opportunity Overview

We seek a seasoned executive to spearhead our business-critical division.

Reporting to the General Manager Fertiliser, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance specialty fertiliser business performance.
  • Negotiate favourable trading arrangements with suppliers.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage opportunities in the proprietary segment for specialty fertiliser.
  • Risk management across the global supply chain for proprietary brands.
  • Ensure accurate data maintenance, including pricing, rebates and margins.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Manage risks associated with domestic & international commodity markets.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial acumen and risk management skills.
  • Experience in the specialty fertiliser market from sourcing through to field application.
  • Proven inventory management capabilities.
  • Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical skills.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all touch points.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Ag Business or similar are advantageous.
