Job Overview

An Equivalency Journey Expert plays a crucial role in shaping the Australian retail banking landscape by focusing on customer migration to ANZ Plus. The successful candidate will lead the discovery of product and feature differences that need to be resolved for smooth customer migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Product Owner in evaluating and identifying treatments for product and feature differences identified as part of Equivalency.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify, align, and manage interdependencies while delivering customer/business value at pace.
  • Facilitate product workshops and syncs with clear agendas and outputs.
  • Undertake a data-driven approach to identify treatments and business requirements to facilitate transition from current state to target state.
  • Translate technical components into business-friendly terminology to ensure stakeholder understanding.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements by building repeatable and reusable capabilities (e.g., tools, processes, and frameworks).
  • Effectively govern collateral, documents, Secure File Sharing folders used as part of Equivalency.
  • Ensure risks and issues are raised to the Initiative Lead and mitigants and actions are captured and defined.
Requirements:
  • Solid ANZ product expertise of Retail and/or Commercial banking products.
  • Demonstrated delivery experience across large programs and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver required outcomes.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Ability to synthesize detailed information and present key insights to facilitate decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve and think quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, be resilient in a dynamic environment, and balance needs of customers, stakeholders, and the business.
  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs, and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
  • Strong execution mindset, willingness to learn, and be immersed in Agile Ways of Working.
  • Risk management knowledge to identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses balancing the needs of customers, stakeholders, and the business.
