**Job Opportunity: Technical Services Deployment Technician**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Technical Services Deployment Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with infrastructure and hardware projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Fielding incoming calls regarding the controlled retail environment
  • Installing, configuring, testing, tagging, and troubleshooting on-site POS devices
  • Auditing equipment on client sites and updating inventory and asset management registers
  • Testing POS peripherals after installation
  • De-installing old equipment and preparing for collection

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, strong technical literacy, a police check, and possession of a small toolkit and full driver's license with a vehicle.

Additional desirable skills include desktop support and POS hardware implementation experience.

The work schedule is ad-hoc, with no guaranteed hours. Efforts will be made to involve candidates in suitable projects and shifts.

Travel to project sites will be arranged, and expenses paid for by the client. The initial contract is 9 weeks with potential to extend based on performance and capacity.

This field-based role offers the chance to engage with various infrastructure and hardware projects and make a real difference in the industry.
