Trainee Opportunities in Elderly Care

This is a unique chance to work and gain qualifications in the field of Individual Support.

You will be working in a Residential Aged Care setting, assisting elderly individuals with their daily needs and activities.

The role involves providing personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for bed making, room tidying, feeding, and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming)

  • The setting of tables and meals for residents
  • Social / Activities

Requirements:

For this traineeship, you must have a great attitude, be reliable, willing to learn and work, and possess the ability to pass a National Police Check. Additionally, you must have valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia. To access State Funding for the training, you must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen. Regular availability is required to work AM shift 7:00am to 2:30pm and attend training 9:30am to 4:30pm.
