Job Title: Rostering Coordinator

Roster coordinators are in high demand due to the increasing complexity of modern workforce management. A skilled roster coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that employees have accurate and timely rosters.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner with minimal disruption to client services.
  • Audit timesheets regularly for payroll processing accuracy.
  • Collaborate with case managers to populate and update employee rosters.
  • Manage ongoing rosters, including setting up and filling shifts, while seeking support from line managers as needed.
  • Process annual leave and availability requests in consultation with case managers.
  • Maintain records of hours worked by employees to ensure compliance with industrial relations obligations and awards.
  • Coordinate shift allocations to meet contract requirements, minimum training/credentialing needs, and client preferences.
  • Support new employees through on-site induction training and shadow shifts.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding their rosters in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience in roster coordination or a related field is essential.
  • Ability to interpret relevant legislation, such as the SCHADS award, is highly regarded.
  • Intermediate skills in Client Information Management Systems, like Visual Care, are also desirable.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours between 6am and 6pm is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • A solution-focused approach and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Working with Children Blue Card is mandatory.
