Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team on a casual basis. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and technical support for medical devices and surgical equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work independently, manage your service schedule with minimal supervision, and provide timely and effective customer support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronics principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment that directly impacts patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of medical equipment at customer sites
  2. Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently in high-pressure clinical environments
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff as a trusted technical advisor
  4. Manage your service schedule with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and effective customer support
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to share technical knowledge and contribute to team goals
  6. Accurately complete service documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
