Food Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary
The Sample Technician is a key support role to the research and development team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare samples and provide essential support, ensuring timely response on sampling which directly impacts project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in weighing, compounding, processing, spray drying, and sample making in a food manufacturing environment.
- Prepare recipes in accordance with provided methods.
- Responsible for sample preparation for evaluation, customer trials, product approval, market promotion, and customer presentations.
- Label and pack samples in accordance with standards.
- Ensure retention samples are collected and stored appropriately.
- Maintain sample stock levels within expiry for efficient supply to customers.
- Responsible for material preparation for trials and support during trials.
- Receive and dispatch goods for research and development.
- Order finished goods, raw materials, packaging, and other consumables as required.
- Collect and replenish raw materials from the manufacturing plant as per protocol.
- Maintain record documentation and upkeep of equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support and follow good laboratory practice expectations.
- Conduct general housekeeping of all work areas.
- Provide support and assistance to the research and development team to ensure efficient performance.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
