Companion Care Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Companion care assistant to join our team in Leeton. As a Companion care assistant, you will provide high-quality care and assistance to our valued clients, enabling them to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support
  • Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
  • Preparing food if needed
  • Observing, caring for, and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client

You will need to be friendly, positive, and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful, and dependable.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • A current National Police Check
  • A current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation
