Mental Health Clinician Position

Are you a dedicated mental health professional looking to expand your expertise in community-based care? We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop time-limited packages of care in collaboration with consumers and their caregivers.
  • Deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical services, including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, psychology, or nursing.
  • Registration with AHPRA or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health interventions in the community and experience in providing comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessment, safety planning, and collaborative care and discharge planning.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
  • Experience working with individuals with acute mental illnesses or disorders and demonstrated knowledge of mental health principles and consumer-focused practices.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's License.
